Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is upon us. It's about reducing the single-use plastic that you'll soon discover is everywhere you look. It is a chance for all of us to take a long hard look at our own plastic consumption and come to the realisation that we can do better. It's about making the small changes in our daily lifestyles and having them engrained as new and far more sustainable habits.

The movement, which has its origins in Australia, has inspired over 250 million participants globally. Placing focus on the encouragement of all change rather than shaming those trying. Every little bit helps.

There is access to countless resources allowing growth to be made easy. It's all a learning curve. Reducing the known offenders - the plastic drink bottles, plastic straws, plastic shopping bags, takeaway coffee cups, and replacing them with reusable drink bottles, metal or bamboo straws, jute shoppers, and a gorgeous keep cup. They present you with easy and doable green solutions.

The Plastic Free July organisation have made a quick & easy survey to properly understand where your sustainability could use improvement and your willingness to change.
